Wild Wing Plantation offers players two golf course experiences in Conway, a central location of Myrtle Beach; an 18-hole layout and an additional 9-hole course for when eighteen just isn’t enough.
The two golf courses which comprise Wild Wing Plantation are:
Avocet (7,127 yards - black tees) Hummingbird (3,046 yards - dark teal tees)
Avocet is a masterful design by former PGA Tour golfer Larry Nelson and architect Jeff Bauer. A well-maintained and challenging - yet fair - golf course, Avocet’s very scenic design is comprised of large fairways, well-placed bunkers, and undulating green and suits both low and high handicap golfers.
The Hummingbird nine has been recently renovated yet stays true to the original course layout. There are three par-3’s, one par-5 and a few forced carries, providing a true test of golf.
Wild Wing Plantation also has a great practice facility including driving range, chipping area and putting green to warm up for the possible twenty-seven holes which lie ahead.
