River Club Golf Course

River Club

The River Club is an 18-hole plantation-style course located in the heart of Pawleys Island, America’s Oldest Seaside Resort.

A member of the famed Waccamaw Trail, this Tom Jackson Signature Course is a lowcountry original, complete with wildlife, maritime forests, pristine wetlands, ponds and streams on 14 of the 18 holes... and more than 100 sand traps and bunkers! In spite of the danger, landing areas are considerable. The River Club golf experience is all about club selection and course management - difficult yet fair if you consider each hole as its own unique experience.

The Practice facility comes complete with putting and chipping areas, a bunker with green and a hitting net - all great for those risk-reward par-5’s which you will encounter!

Golf Course year around is always in great shape. Great Staff that want to help their guests have an enjoyable time.

One of my favorites to play, great layout.Even though the area had received rain over the past week or so we were able to drive on most of the fairways. Staff members very pleasant and accommodating.

Been coming to The Grand Strand for 13 years for an annual buddies golf trip, and we enjoyed The River Club. The course is in very good condition, and the layout really stands out among other courses in the area. The course is challenging, but very fair, and we had a lot of fun Youand039ll use close to every club in your bag. There is no driving range, so hitting into a net was a disappointing warm up. The staff were kind, but it seemed like they needed a few more people for a very busy day. We still find the tee times too close together, which leads to a lot of waiting, but we played in the busy season, so we were disappointed but not surprised. Even with all that, we said this one goes on the andquotplay it again listandquot and recommend that you give it try.
