Aberdeen Golf Club Course:
- Three unique layouts
- Great Practice facility
- Peaceful, eco-friendly design
- North Myrtle Beach location
Aberdeen Country Club Golf Course offers players a 27-hole Scottish links experience in Longs, on the north end of Myrtle Beach. Challenges on the three nines include water which can be found on all but four holes on the course. Architect Tom Jackson has upheld the Scottish tradition of only strategically planted trees with water and bunkers as the hazards in play.
The three courses which comprise Aberdeen are:
The Woodlands Nine (3,345 yards)
The Meadows Nine (3,306 yards)
The Highlands Nine (3,420 yards)
Woodlands is considered by some to be one of the toughest nines on the Grand Strand. There are no houses surrounding this serene yet challenging course. Meadows meanders around the river and natural wetlands and Highlands is lined with trees but also gives players the strongest feel of a links course because of the rolling hills along some of the fairways.
Aberdeen winds through the Waccamaw riverfront preserve and sports an abundance of wildlife, including turkeys, nesting osprey, bald eagles, and alligators. Rolling hills along the side of the fairways and around the TifEagle greens add to the beauty of Aberdeen’s three courses.
There is a large practice area behind Aberdeen’s Clubhouse which includes a sizeable putting green. a full driving range and a chipping green with bunker, a great facility which prepares you for what lies ahead!
